Banks C. Ladd
Banks founded the firm in 1995, two years after graduating from law school at the University of Alabama. He is also a graduate of UMS-Wright and Washington & Lee University. Banks has the highest peer review rating (AV) for professional excellence from the legal directory Martindale-Hubbell. He is licensed to practice law in Alabama and Mississippi.
A sixth-generation Mobilian, Banks is anything but stuck in the past. He became fascinated with the impact of the digital age on estate planning. Convinced that online providers were doing more harm than good, he set out to find the best method for offering high-quality estate planning to ordinary families in Mobile and Baldwin counties. In the process, he discovered the unmet need for related elder law services.
Outside the office, Banks is an avid cyclist, rising at 4 am several days a week for early morning bike rides. Banks and Mary Carol have two daughters, Sadie and Virginia, who attend UMS-Wright.
What Banks enjoys most about estate planning and elder law is the opportunity to create harmony among families. Bringing people together is one of his greatest strengths.
