Holden G. Cammack

Holden G. Cammack is an attorney with The Ladd Firm, where his practice focuses on civil litigation, wills, trusts, and estates, with a particular emphasis on probate matters. Holden joined the firm in 2025 and brings with him a diverse professional background and a deep commitment to client advocacy.

A fifth-generation Texan, Holden was born and raised in Colleyville, Texas, and graduated from Grapevine Senior High School. He earned a baseball scholarship to attend Blinn College in Brenham, Texas, where he excelled both athletically and academically. At Blinn, Holden was selected to the Texas–New Mexico Junior College All-Star Team, named an Academic All-American by the Region 14 NJCAA Conference, achieved Academic Honor Roll recognition every semester, and was inducted into Sigma Kappa Delta and Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Societies.

Holden continued his collegiate baseball career at Coastal Carolina University and later at Oral Roberts University, where he played as a catcher and pitcher. He graduated Cum Laude from Oral Roberts in 2016 with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a minor in Humanities. That same year, he was selected by the Chicago Cubs in the 16th Round (Pick 494) of the Major League Baseball Draft as a right-handed pitcher.

After completing his professional baseball career, Holden attended Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in Dallas, Texas, as a Dean’s Recipient Scholar. During law school, he clerked under respected Dallas–Fort Worth sports and entertainment attorney Christian Dennie, gaining valuable experience in complex legal and contractual matters.

Following law school, Holden began his legal career as a Deputy District Attorney for the 15th Judicial Circuit in Montgomery, Alabama, where he prosecuted a wide range of criminal cases under District Attorney Daryl Bailey. From 2023 to 2025, he practiced with Funderburk Law Group, where his work encompassed criminal defense, domestic law, probate, and civil litigation.

Holden is licensed to practice law in both Alabama and Texas.

When he’s not practicing law, Holden enjoys spending time with his wife, Kendra, and their two children in Fairhope, Alabama, where they reside.
